Konnyaku is a congealed jelly like food made from the starchy root of the Devil Tongue plant or Konnyaku plant. Here we sliced fresh homemade konnyaku that had been soaked overnight in konbu (seaweed) and served it with wasabi and shiso buds in shoyu. On Wikipedia it is listed under Konjac.
